Privacy

I keep as little as I can, I don't sell any of it, and nothing here is used for advertising. Here's exactly what the site stores and why.

What I collect

If you sign in with Google, I get your email address and an account ID from Google. I never see your Google password. If you made an account with a username earlier, I store that username and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password.

What gets recorded while you use the course

When you sign in I record the time, your IP address and your browser type. I count how many times you play each lesson. If you send a username for a course step, I store what you sent and whether I confirmed it.

Why

To run your account, to keep one account on one device, to spot shared accounts, and to stop course videos being leaked. Your username and email show faintly on the video while you watch, so a leaked recording can be traced back.

Who sees it

Only me, the course admin. I don't sell your data or share it for advertising. Bunny.net delivers the videos and Google handles Google sign-in. Each one processes only what it needs for that job.

Cookies

One login cookie keeps you signed in, and a small browser setting remembers that you confirmed you're 18 or older. No advertising or tracking cookies.

How long I keep it

As long as your account exists. Ask me to delete your account and your data goes with it, apart from daily backups, which are deleted after 14 days.
